A View From the Edge

The upshot of medicinal labels

For centuries, in a sincere effort to categorize illness to affect a better treatment, the medical industry has developed a system of labels to identify illness and medical conditions. And, yes, over the past century, many of the historic labels have been dropped and ridiculed — for good reason.

A history lesson relevant to today

Until the last 40 years, most families always supplemented their food with hunting. Pre-World War II, there were less than 2,000,000,000 people on the planet (today there are 7,000,000,000+). Hunting and the wildlife food supply were a normal, regular, habitual part of families’ lives. Disrupting that often meant families went hungry.
