SALISBURY — Millard Silvernale at last Sunday’s dinner regaled himself on green peas and new potatoes from his own garden.

ORE HILL — The storm of last Wednesday killed “Major” the Collie belonging to James Moore.

SALISBURY — Mr. A.W. Pearce sailed for England on Wednesday.

 

LAKEVILLE — Master Clement Bauman had the misfortune to be thrown from his wheel near Roberts Store on Monday morning striking on the cement road and inflicting painful cuts and bruises about his face.

LAKEVILLE — “Laddie,” Miss Virginia Thrall’s pet Collie, has disappeared, nothing having been seen of the dog since last Friday. The dog has the regular collie markings and wears a tag marked 50033. Any news of Laddie’s whereabouts will be gratefully received by the Thrall family.

SALISBURY — A pleasant party was enjoyed last Thursday by Master Paul Parsons and six of his young friends. Everyone had a fine time.

 

ORE HILL — Miss Mary O’Loughlin is assisting Mrs. Shaw at the Interlaken Inn which opens this week for the season.

SALISBURY — H.R. Brinton is suffering from a sprained wrist received by falling from a ladder while removing wall paper last Saturday.

— Arthur Coons has sold his motorcycle and is driving a new Chevrolet car.

LIME ROCK — Mr. Comstock, the grocery drummer, was in town Monday.
