Sharon voters approve equipment-loan payoff

Voters unanimously approved expenditures endorsed by the Board of Finance at a sparsely attended town meeting on Thursday, April 7.

In addition to approving the town’s financial statement for the year that ended June 30, 2021, voters agreed to spend $14,000 from the Capital Non-recurring fund to replace the Pavilion roof at Veterans’ Field.

Voters also voted to spend up to $425,210 from the Undesignated Fund to pay off three equipment loans held by Salisbury Bank.

The meeting was held at the Town Hall.
