Nicole Landau and Hank Evans have a summer wedding in Georgia
SHARON — Doug and Melissa Landau of Sharon and Oak Hill, Va., are thrilled to announce the marriage of their daughter, Nicole Billie Landau, to Henry “Hank” Allen Evans, son of Keith and Emilie Evans, of Atlanta, Ga., and Helen, Ga.
Landau, a Senior Product Manager at BetterCloud, and Evans, the Director of the Manufacturing Team for the State of Georgia Department of Economic Development, live in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta. The couple’s postponed nuptials took place on Saturday, July 24, in The Stave Room at ASW Distillery in the Peachtree State.
Landau, a Southern girl at heart, spent summers in Sharon. Her grandmother Margi Landau Hirshberg’s Ellsworth Hill home has been the family gathering spot for 50 years. After graduating from the Madeira School, the College of William & Mary, and working for IBM in Washington, D.C., Nicole moved to Georgia to be with her college beau. Evans, also a William & Mary grad, is best known for his walk up song as “closer” for the Tribe Club Baseball team.
Litchfield County Bar Association member Doug Landau, a 1978 graduate of The Hotchkiss School and class agent, practices law throughout the East Coast with the firm of Abrams, Landau, Ltd. Melissa Landau is a Realtor with Keller Williams in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Formerly the Headmaster of the Collegiate School in Richmond, Va., Keith Evans is currently President of the Westminster School in Atlanta.
Siblings in the wedding party were Ronnie Evans, Rebecca Landau Swanner and Danielle Landau Whitman. Dr. Zach Landau, USN/USMC Ret., Hotchkiss class of 2006, served as Man of Honor. The couple expects to take their honeymoon in Puerto Rico.
