Changing of the guard at Salisbury Town Hall

SALISBURY — Rachel Lamb is retiring after 18 and a half years’ service as assistant town clerk in Salisbury. 

Lamb and her replacement, Kristine Simmons, and Town Clerk Patty Williams were all on hand at Town Hall on Tuesday, June 29.

At last, fireworks

Predictions of rain on Saturday, July 3, and Sunday, July 4, led Salisbury Rotary Club  planners to delay the fireworks at Lime Rock Park until Monday, July 5, when the display went off without a hitch on a gloriously clear evening.

Lakefront land owners at odds over expansion of protective regulations

SALISBURY — Property owners on the shores of Lake Wononscopomuc and the Twin Lakes are at odds over a proposed expansion of regulatory rules by Salisbury’s Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission (IWWC).
