Evergreen Cemetery honors heroes on Wreaths Across America Day

PINE PLAINS — With the holiday season having arrived, local residents decided to pay tribute to the heroes in their lives and in their communities by participating in the national Wreaths Across America Day ceremony that was held at Evergreen Cemetery at noon on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Stissing Center’s new video series entertains during the pandemic

PINE PLAINS — For the latest installment in the nonprofit’s “Video of the Week” series, The Stissing Center shined the spotlight on a performance by singer Chelsea Fingal DeSouza, with music by Sophia Zhou, on Monday, Nov. 16.

PINE PLAINS — For all the lectures the Pine Plains Free Library has held to teach its patrons about the Hudson Valley, never before have they been taken on a tour of 250 million years’ worth of history.
