PINE PLAINS — It’s been more than nine months in the making, although it took more like an evening for the primary members of the Pine Plains Broadband Committee to pull what they had compiled into a finalized report and actually write it up in preparation to present it to Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro.
PINE PLAINS — Pine Plains Central School District (PPCSD) administrators brought families up to speed on the upcoming transition to a four-day in-person instruction model in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, at two virtual presentations on Wednesday, March 24. Classes will restart in the flesh on Monday, April 5.

PINE PLAINS — After the challenges they faced in their search for a new pantry space, Nelson and Lisa Zayas of Willow Roots wholeheartedly welcomed the community to join in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new space at 7730 South Main St. on Saturday, March 21, at 10 a.m.
PINE PLAINS— It’s taken more than seven months and many sleepless nights for Lisa and Nelson Zayas to find a way to move their home-grown food pantry, Willow Roots, from 23 North Main St. in Pine Plains to 7730 South Main St.
PINE PLAINS — Starting at 7 p.m. over Zoom on Wednesday, March 3, the Pine Plains Board of Education (BOE) welcomed presentations from the district’s Technology and Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) departments that detailed the status of each department and what their budgets might look like next year.
PINE PLAINS — Lending its full attention to a presentation by Rick Keller-Coffey, the Pine Plains Board of Education (BOE) received a refresher course on recognizing the signs and consequences of child abuse at its board meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 17, held via Zoom due to the COVID-19 health crisis.

PINE PLAINS — Continuing its efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic, the Pine Plains Pharmacy helped roughly 130 residents get inoculated against COVID-19 by hosting its second vaccination clinic on Thursday, March 4.
PINE PLAINS — In addition to assessing the town’s efforts regarding broadband internet access, the Town Board unanimously adopted the Pine Plain’s Police Reform Plan at its meeting held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18.
