Agnes M. Nowicki
SALISBURY — Agnes M. Nowicki passed away peacefully on May 2, 2020, at Noble Horizons at the age of 102.
She was born in 1918 in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of Theresa (Hamilton) and John Hahne. She moved to Lakeville as a child, going to local schools and working in local handpainted tablecloth, slide rule and fishing lure factories.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Anthony J. Nowicki; her sisters, Theresa Hahne and Anna Hutchinson; her brother, John Hahne; and her nephews, Alex Hutchinson and John Hutchinson.
She leaves behind her nephews, Hollis Hutchinson, Richard Hutchinson and John Hahne; and her nieces, Kathleen Stupak and Patricia Williams and their families.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Noble Horizons Holiday Fund, the Noble Horizons Auxiliary or the Salisbury Volunteer Ambulance Service.
The family deeply appreciates all of the kind and compassionate care that Agnes received while she was a resident at Noble Horizons.
Newkirk-Palmer Funeral Home in North Canaan is entrusted with arrangements.
