Roland H. Chinatti

FALLS VILLAGE — Coach Chinatti, Roland H. Chinatti, 93, of Warren Turnpike Road, died Nov. 10, 2020. He was the loving and devoted husband of the late Dorothy Louise Atterbury Chinatti. From the moment he saw her, Roland knew he would marry Dottie Lou.

Stephen B. Moldof

SALISBURY — Stephen B. Moldof, a part-time resident of the Amesville Hamlet of Salisbury for 46 years, lost his heroic battle with glioblastoma on Nov. 9, 2020. But his will to live, sense of humor cherished by all who knew him, and love for his son, Luke, and wife, Michaele (“Mike”) Noble, remained unvanquished. 

Zay (McColl) Foster

GOSHEN — Zay (McColl) Foster of Milton, Conn., and Jekyll Island, Ga., died on Nov. 10, 2020, in Goshen at the age of 81. 

Daughter of the Rev. James Rodger McColl and Frances Wamsley McColl, she was born on Dec. 28, 1938, in Champaign, Ill. 

Joyce A Bassett

ASHLEY FALLS — Joyce A. Bassett, 74, of Ashley Falls died in Great Barrington on Nov. 15, 2020. She was the widow of Kenneth Bassett.  

Joyce was born on Aug. 27, 1946, the daughter of the late Jennie (Cantone) and Archie Wandall.  

She owned and worked at the Sunrise Diner for more than 40 years. 

Patricia L. Tully

SALISBURY — Patricia Tully, 91, died suddenly of a heart attack on Oct. 31, 2020, at her home at Noble Horizons. She and her late husband, George Tully, were long-time residents of the Lakeville-Salisbury area. 

Born June 21, 1929, and raised in Mount Vernon, N.Y., Pat attended the College of New Rochelle. 

John G. Prause

SALISBURY — John G. Prause, 87, of the Taconic section of Salisbury, died Oct. 27, 2020. 

He was the husband of Marianne Gloeckl, who survives at home. They were married on Oct. 25, 1958, in Lakeville.

Mr. Prause was born April 9, 1933, in Hausdorf, Germany (which is now Jugov, Poland), the son of the late Rosalie Prause.

Rhoda Lubalin

Rhoda Lubalin died Oct. 19, 2020, at the age of 98, just days after her birthday. She was born on Oct. 3, 1922.

Rhoda was a person of lifelong involvement in the arts. A 1947 arts graduate of Hunter College, she obtained a Master’s Degree of Art from the University of Ohio.

John T. Bryant

NORTH CANAAN — John T. Bryant, 72 died of heart failure on Nov. 4, 2020, at Sharon Hospital. 

Born Oct. 29, 1948, in Endicott, N.Y., he was the son of Francis E. and Doris (Reeves) Bryant.
