AMESVILLE — S. Peter Law, a longtime resident of Rowayton, Conn., passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 26, 2020, at the age of 93 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Law and Alan Lovejoy of Amesville, with whom he had lived since 2015.
CORNWALL — John D. Perry, age 83, died June 17, 2020, of natural causes after living with Parkinson’s disease for over 20 years.
John was born May 6, 1937, in Isleworth, London, England, to Herbert Perry and Phyllis Ivy Perry.
John excelled in school and sports.
He served in the British Army from 1956-58.
SHARON — Edmund Joseph Charles Chrostowski, a community journalist, editor and local historian for more than 60 years, died on June 15, 2020, at his home in Ridgefield, Conn., with his daughter and loyal cat Taz by his side. He was 91 years old.
SHARON — Kimberly Anne Wright, 54, passed away peacefully June 15, 2020, after a long illness.
She was born April 29, 1966, to Hervey Wright and to Judith Wright Wilbur, who predeceased her.
She was a 1984 graduate of Housatonic Valley Regional High School.
AMENIA — Diana Susan LaCurto, 74, a 24-year resident of Amenia and formerly of Long Island, N.Y., died peacefully on June 17, 2020, at her home in Amenia, surrounded by her loving husband and children.
CLINTON CORNERS — Richard J. Caza, “Can Man,” 78, passed away June 17, 2020, at home with his wife by his side.
He was born on Dec. 5, 1941, in North Hudson, N.Y., the son of Marion (Guyette) and Joseph Caza.
Mr. Caza was a retired mechanic for Rhinebeck Chevrolet.
NORTH CANAAN — Christine Elizabeth Wells, 32, of 57 High St. died June 11, 2020, at Hartford Hospital.
She was born July 27, 1987, in Sharon, the daughter of Alfred M. Wells of North Canaan and Diane Shippa-Paden of Sheffield, Mass.
NORTH CANAAN — Joan Carolyn Kauttu, PhD, daughter of Carl and Edna Kauttu, was raised in North Canaan, where her father owned a local pharmacy. She died at her family home on Bragg Street at 80 years of age.
SALISBURY — Helen (Sczawinski) Hintz passed peacefully at Noble Horizons on June 9, 2020, just days after celebrating her 89th birthday. Her last hours were an outpouring of love and support from the many friends and caregivers she had made at Noble, her home for the last seven years.
SALISBURY— Antoinette “Toni” Margaret Crawford, 71, a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, June 13, 2020, at her home in Salisbury, surrounded by her loving children following a courageous battle with cancer.
Toni worked as a hairdresser at Noble Horizons in Salisbury and was also a produce clerk at LaBonne’s Market in Salisbury.
