DOVER — Eva (Cruz) Aitcheson passed away surrounded by her four children on Feb. 14, 2023, at the age of 49. She was born in New York City on Jan. 19, 1974. She was a fun, loving, and proud mother and grandmother, who loved nothing more than spending time with those closest to her.

LAKEVILLE — Peter R. Douglas, 72, a retired attorney who practiced corporate law in New York City, died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack at his home in Lakeville on Feb. 9, 2023.

John Manuel Moore

MILLERTON — John Manuel Moore, 66, a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at Sharon Hospital in Sharon. Mr. Moore was a self-employed professional sound engineer for the movie and film industry for over twenty years.

Sally Swanson

SALISBURY - It is with great sadness that we have to inform you, our little Mom, Sally Swanson, passed away on Feb. 14, 2023. She was 85 years old [nearly 86 (May 19th)].

William C. Walsh

NORTH CANAAN —William C. Walsh, 52, of Tallahassee, Florida, and a former resident of Salisbury, died on Feb. 13, 2023. Bill was born on Dec. 14, 1970, and was predeceased by his parents, Jeanne and Bill Walsh, formerly of Salisbury.

Camille Viafore Dennett

LAKEVILLE — It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Camille Viafore Dennett of Lady Lake, Florida, formerly of Lakeville.

Our sister passed away on Feb. 2, 2023. Camille was born in 1935 in Yonkers, New York, and was the oldest daughter of the late Alexander J. Viafore and Sophie Siwek Viafore.

Noah Michael Thompson

AMENIA – Noah Michael Thompson, 17, a lifelong area resident, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at Sharon Hospital following a tragic accident that occurred in Millerton. Noah was a High School Student at Webutuck Central School District in Amenia, and was expecting to graduate with the Senior Class of 2023.
