EAST CANAAN — Joan A. Nestor, 89, of 4 College Hill Road passed away peacefully at home on Thursday July 6, 2023, from complication of dementia. She was the wife of the late Lawrence S. Nestor of Stamford, Connecticut.  Joan was born July 10, 1933, in Greenwich, Connecticut.                                .

Harry Martin Glazer

MILLERTON — Harry Martin Glazer, 76, passed away on April 27, 2023, at his home in Millerton. Harry was the loving husband of the late Susan Eldrege Chase of Millerton and Dennis Port, Massachusetts.

Ronald James McNamee

NORFOLK — It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald James McNamee, 78, of Norfolk, announces his passing on July 2, 2023, at Hartford Hospital with his wife of 54 years,  Marybeth Yeagher McNamee, by his side.

He was predeceased by his parents James and Collette McNamee of Wethersfield, Connecticut.

Cynthia Pender Robbins

CORNWALL — Cynthia Pender Robbins, age 82, died with her family at her side on June 22, 2023, in her Cabot, Vermont home. The cause of death was lung cancer which she and her family were quite stunned to learn of in late 2022.

Barbara Denerstein

PINE PLAINS — Barbara Denerstein (nee Weinflash) died in her sleep in Torrington, Connecticut, on July 2, 2023, at the age of 76 after a series of ailments.  She was by the side of her partner Michael Williams when she passed.  Barbara and Mike had recently moved to Torrington after almost 20 years in Pine Plains.

Joseph Edward Banta

HANCOCK, Mass. — Joseph Edward Banta, 95, passed away on April 1, 2023, in hospice care at the Sharon Hospital. He was born on December 25, 1927, to Mildred Ash and Kenneth W. Banta, in Maplewood, New Jersey, and spent his early years in Berlin, Germany, before moving to London and eventually settling in New York City.
