NORTH CANAAN — William Grant “Bill” Curtis Sr., 83, of Gulf Breeze, Fla., passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2021, after a lengthy illness.
Bill was born on Feb. 26, 1938, in North Canaan to the late Louis G. and Margaret Curtiss.
FALLS VILLAGE — A memorial service for William Schrenk (who died on Jan. 23, 2021) will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Cornwall Congregational Church, 8 Bolton Hill Road, Cornwall. The service will be at 2 p.m. and will be followed by a reception.
SHARON — Daniel Charles Wright Jr., 93, passed away peacefully at his home in Sharon in the early hours of Wednesday, July 28, 2021. His wife of 67 years, Ann Wright, was at his bedside, along with children and grandchildren.
MILLERTON — A chapter completed, a page turned, a life well lived, and a rest well earned. Lewis William “Sonny” Lindsay, 94, a lifelong area resident died Friday, July 23, 2021, at The Pines at Poughkeepsie, Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.
FALLS VILLAGE — It is with great sadness that the family of Geoffrey Louis Rossano of Falls Village announces his death Friday, July 23, 2021, at the age of 72.
CORNWALL — Joanna Dennett, 93, of Acworth, N.H., died June 1, 2021, at the home of her daughter, Wendy Pomeroy, in Kittery Point, Maine.
SHARON — Salvatore “Sal” F. Accardo of Sharon died on July 19, 2021. He was the loving husband of Janet (How) Accardo.
FALLS VILLAGE — Tonia Jean Moody, 53, went home to the Lord on June 30, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 9, 1967, in Sharon, daughter of Bertha (Davis) Moody and the late Charles Moody Jr.
SHARON — Helen (Wike) Humeston passed away July 12, 2021, at her home two days after her 99th birthday.
Born July 10, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Edward Charles Wike and Alice Judd (Wike) Gavel.
Helen was a member of the first class to graduate from Houstonic Valley Regional High School in 1940.
MILLERTON — Marian (Shea) Smith, 94, a 65-year resident of Millerton, died peacefully on Dec. 15, 2020, at Sharon Hospital.
Beloved mother of Michael C. Smith of Millerton and the late Mariley Smith Najdek. Dear sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
