SHARON — A lifelong resident of Sharon, Philip D. Waugh, 81, passed away peacefully on Feb. 15, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving wife, Dobrila, and his three children.

Philip was born on March 24, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Dr. David Darwin Waugh II and Bertha (Raeder) Waugh.

CANAAN — David A. Wheeler Sr., 84, of West Main Street died Feb. 3, 2022, at the Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was the husband of the late Evelyn V. (Schufelt) Wheeler, who passed on Nov. 11,  2021. David and Evelyn were married for 62 years.

CANAAN — Raymond J. Duprey, 86, of Sand Road, died Sunday evening Feb. 13, 2022, at Noble Horizons in Salisbury.

He was the husband of Judith (Giulian) Duprey.

Raymond was born Oct. 3, 1935, in Sharon, son of the late Ruth (Houghtaling) and Clarence Duprey.

We write to honor our dear friend Jim Charlton. We loved Jim as did everyone in his life, and our memories of Jim, in Lakeville and New York, are bright with his cheerful curiosities, deep affections (Lakeville International Wine Smackdown, croquet whites, tuxedoes) and twinkling eyes. Jim, we shall miss you.

Jim Charlton was a gentleman of the old school, a devoted husband and father, a warm and generous friend, a host who brought out fine wines and lively conversation.

PINE PLAINS — Eleanor (Yakubowski) Pulver, 95, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 3, 2022.

SALISBURY — Leonie S. Brewer, age 98, died peacefully at Noble Horizons on Jan. 25, 2022.

SHARON — Mrs. Clair Catherine Cohen, 76, of New York, N.Y., and Sharon, passed away peacefully in her sleep in early February 2022.
