FALLS VILLAGE — The family of David B. Lindsay, formerly of Falls Village, will host a community celebration of his life on Friday, July 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village.
ASHLEY FALLS — Larry Blades, 74, of Ashley Falls, Massachusetts, passed away on May 9, 2022, at Geer Village in Canaan after a long illness. Larry was born on August 10, 1947, in Bethesda, Maryland, a son of the late Cecilia Koehler Blades and Jehu L. (Dusty) Blades.
VALATIE, N.Y. — Roger Evans Bradley, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022, in Philmont, New York. A resident of Valatie, Mr. Bradley was born in Sharon, Connecticut on April 23, 1932. He was the son of the late William J. and Marjorie F. Bradley.
SHARON — William ‘Billy’ Saster passed away unexpectedly on May 25,2022, at the Sharon Hospital.
He was 85 years old and leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Emily, his daughter Cynthia, son-in-law Donald, grandchildren Nathan and Gwyneth, and his brother Jeffrey.
A celebration of the life of Nicholas J. Beni Jr. (7/3/52—1/30/22) will be held on Sunday, July 3, on the Belter property. His family invites any and all people who would like to share their memories of Nick to join them. The celebration will be held at, 218/220 Salmon Kill Rd., Lakeville, Connecticut from 10 a.m.
COPAKE, New York — Loretta May Hill Flint – Wood, 81, of Copake, and a former longtime resident of Millerton passed away on Saturday May 28, 2022, after a long illness.
She was born on June 20, 1940, in Rhinebeck, to David B. and Maude (Squires) Hill.
Johan Winsser, 74, of West Cornwall passed quietly at home after a brief illness. He was a loving and devoted, husband, father, brother, and friend.
EAST CANAAN — The family of Thomas “Otis”, J. Strattman, Sr., 64, announce his passing May 9, 2022. He was born March 17, 1958, in Great Barrington, son of the late Lee Strattman, Sr. and Joan (Liner) Strattman.
NORTH CANAAN — Irene Gloria (Humes) Whitman, 89, of 41 Reed Street, passed on at the Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Canaan. Irene was the wife of the late James Whitman. She was born August 26, 1932, in Hudson, New York, daughter of the late Andrew and Mabel (Eglin) Humes Jr.
The members of the Lake Wononscopomuc Association want to express our appreciation for our neighbor and friend Donald Ross. We are saddened by his passing and we will miss him deeply. Don was a member of the board of directors of the lake association for 9 years and vice president for most of that time.
