NORTH CANAAN — Teresa (Perotti) Solan, professional seamstress and supermom, passed peacefully into Heaven on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, with her family and health aide, Love Togoe, surrounding her.  She was 91.  

Teresa was born on Jan. 13, 1930, and was the only child of Palma Perotti Consolini.  

SHARON — Joan Boyd (Barnett) Loper, 85, of Sharon and formerly of Lakeville, passed away peacefully at her home on March 29, 2021.

PINE PLAINS — Ursula Emma Foster, 96, of Town Center Road died March 24, 2021, at Geer Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Canaan. She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar Foster.

LAKEVILLE — Michael Elmer Silvernale, 60, a three-and-a-half year resident of Connecticut, formerly a longtime resident of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Millerton, died peacefully on March 27, 2021, at Sharon Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. 

MILLERTON — Marvin William Jarrett of Millerton passed away from his earthly life on March 21, 2021.  

Marvin was born on March 5, 1937, in Lincolnton, N.C., to Victor Marvin Jarrett and Versilee Roberts Jarrett.  

SHARON — Robert Delano Peters died Thursday, the 4th of March 2021. He was 58. His whole family was caring for him in his home. Robert had a long battle with kidney cancer and stepped up to fight it as best he could.

LAKEVILLE — Costantina “Tinetta” Sebben passed away March 7, 2021. Tinetta was born in Frassene di Fonzaso, Provincia di Belluno, Italy, on May 7, 1928. Her parents were Maria Zucco and Bortolo Sebben.

Rob Peters was a man who had a clear drive and sense of purpose. Rob had a deep sense of right and wrong. He wasn’t afraid to support important issues, hence his public opinions of our last president!
