WINSTED — Steven P. Salaway, 72, died May 29, 2021, after a long illness.  

He was the loving husband of Abigail (Raymond) Salaway.  

Steven was born May 20, 1949, in the port town of Bayonne, N.J., the son of the late Mary (Masalsky) and George A. Salaway.  

NORTH CANAAN — Craig S. White, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away March 19, 2021, at Berkshire Medical Center after a very brief battle with lung cancer.  

He was the son of Austin and Betty Lovett.  

Born in Great Barrington, Mass., he was raised in Salisbury and attended local schools. 

SALISBURY — The Reverend Richard H. Taber, 80, a beloved community leader, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2021, surrounded by family.  

WINSTED — Steven P. Salaway, 72, died on Saturday, May 29, 2021, after a long illness.  He was the loving husband of Abigail (Raymond) Salaway.  

MILLERTON — Jack Erwin Dean, 78, a lifelong resident of Millerton, died peacefully on May 26, 2021, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. 

Mr. Dean was currently working for 44 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Harlem Valley Sand and Gravel in South Amenia.

SALISBURY — Funeral services and burial for Randy Keith Wilson, 67, will take place on Saturday, June 12, at 10 a.m. at Irondale Cemetery in Millerton. 

A full obituary for Mr. Wilson, who died Oct. 30, 2020, appeared in the May 20 issue of The Lakeville Journal.

SALISBURY — John Neufeld, 78, died on May 16, 2021, at his home in Salisbury. He is survived by his companion of 37 years, Winston Foote.

Mr. Neufeld was born in Chicago, Ill., Jan. 14, 1938, the son of Rhoda (Padway) and Leonard Neufeld.

LAKEVILLE — Anton David Kuskin, 85, professional flutist, died on his birthday, March 31, 2021.  

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y.,  he lived many years in Connecticut and Nova Scotia with his wife and companion, Sunny, with whom he shared a passion for folk art.
