Harry Joseph Jenkins

AMENIA – Harry Joseph Jenkins, Jr., 98, a lifelong resident of Amenia, died on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022,  at his home. Mr. Jenkins worked in the accounting field his entire life and retired after many years as the Controller with Sullivan Highway Products in Monticello, New York.

Thomas Henry ‘Tom’ Dean

MILLERTON — Thomas Henry “Tom” Dean, 85, a lifelong area resident died peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, following a brief illness. Tom worked as a laborer and equipment operator for the Village of Millerton Highway Department for over 29 years prior to his retirement in 1991.

John William Clouser Sr.

FALLS VILLAGE — John William Clouser Sr., 68, of Falls Village, died on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington from complications stemming from a long illness.

Born on April 12, 1954, in Great Barrington, he was the son of Floyd A. Clouser Sr. and Margaret R. (Winters) Clouser.

Clara Else Schumann

NORTH CANAAN — Clara Else Schumann, 90, passed away peacefully October 12, 2022 at Bentley Assisted Living in Branchville, NJ with her family and Bentley staff nearby. Prior to Bentley, Clara lived at Knoll Heights Village in Sparta, NJ for ten years where she had many friends.

Zoe Nakos Canellakis

WEST CORNWALL — Zoe Nakos Canellakis, a Senior Research Scientist at Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Pharmacology, was born Sept. 7, 1927, in Lowell, Massachusetts and died on Saturday, Oct.  22, 2022, at the age of 95 in Canaan, Connecticut.

Neil Scott

LAKEVILLE — Ever the quiet force, Neil Scott passed away peacefully at Sharon Hospital on Oct. 12, 2022, after 94 years of a remarkable life. Born in Bolton, Great Britain, in 1928, Neil spent an active youth sailing, rowing, fishing, and hiking around the Isle of Man, a small island between England and Ireland.

Aurelia Graham Blodgett

FALLS VILLAGE — It is with sadness that we share the loss of Aurelia Graham Blodgett, who on Oct.14, 2022, found peace and comfort in eternal rest. The daughter of Samuel and Laura (Dickinson) Graham, she was born at home on March 1, 1930, in Falls Village, across from the Falls Village Hydroelectric Power Plant.
