Constance Rugg Booth

CANAAN — Constance Rugg Booth, 89, of Canaan, died peacefully at Fairview Hospital on Nov. 2, 2022. Born June 21, 1933, at Fairview Hospital she was the daughter of Dorothy (Emmons) Rugg and Gardner L. Rugg of Southfield, Massachusetts.

Raymond C. ‘Ray’ Loper

MILLERTON — Raymond C. “Ray” Loper, 91, a lifelong area resident, died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at his home in Millerton from complications of bile duct cancer, he was surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 18, 1931, in Sharon, he was the son of the late Clifford and Hazel (Miller) Loper.

Kenneth Warren Tyson

CORNWALL — Kenneth Warren Tyson passed away on Nov. 19, 2022, at the age of 87. He was born in New York City to Robert Warren Tyson and Eleanor Duval Tyson on July 23, 1935. He was raised in White Plains and Scarsdale, New York, along with his identical twin brother, Robert.

Ida M. Leonard

NEW MARLBOROUGH — Ida M. Leonard, 89, a longtime resident of New Marlborough, Massachusetts, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022. Born to Medeo and Lena Morandi on January 15, 1933, in Alford, Massachusetts.

Nicolas C. Osborn

SALISBURY — Lifelong community member and environmental activist Nicolas C. Osborn passed away peacefully at his home in Taconic on Oct. 8, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. The first born son of long time Salisbury residents Robert and Elodie Osborn, Nic was 75 years old.

Michael Loening

SALISBURY — Michael Loening, 91, of New York City and Salisbury died peacefully at home after a short illness. Born in 1930, he was a true gentleman, with impeccable manners and a gracious demeanor. “How wonderful!” was a phrase he often uttered, expressing genuine delight.

Edna Van Sise

COPAKE — Edna Van Sise, 90, of Copake and formerly of Wingdale, New York, passed away peacefully on Monday Oct. 31, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April  9, 1932, in Mount Kisco, New York, she was the daughter of the late William Lane and Edna Terwilliger (Sisson).
