Well, the weather forecast said it was going to — and it sure did. Cold, pouring rain welcomed the participants in Kent’s 43rd Pumpkin Run, held on Sunday, Oct 27. 

Conditions were as bad as runners could remember. It really was one of those “What the heck am I doing here ?” kind of days. Three-hundred-sixty runners had pre-registered for the event, but there were many no-shows at the sign-in tent.  The total number of runners and walkers who finished the 5-mile race was 262.
