SHARON— Judith P. Fulco, 71, of Low Road died at her home Jan. 29, 2012, after a brief illness, with her family at her side. She was a lifelong resident of Sharon. She was the daughter of the late Josephine (Noble) and Gaylord Prindle.Judith was born in Torrington on Aug. 24, 1940. She was a graduate of Sharon Center School, Housatonic Valley Regional High School, Green Mountain College and Hofstra University. She was employed by the Webutuck Central School systems as an elementary school teacher. In addition to her work, she loved to travel in her spare time and enjoyed her grandchildren and her dog, Simon.Judith is survived by her daughters, Gwen Fulco of Basking Ridge, N.J., and Gail (Fulco) Tantorski and her husband, Edward, of North Haven, Conn.; her grandchildren, Abigail and Jake Tantorski; her brother, Paul Prindle and his wife, Ellen, of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.At Judith’s request there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sharon Volunteer Ambulance & Fire Department, PO Box 357, Sharon, CT 06069 or the Webutuck School District, Attn: PTA, Laura Calabrese, 194 Haight Road, PO Box 405, Amenia, NY 12501.The Kenny Funeral Home in Sharon has charge of arrangements.
