Pedestrian safe after being struck by car in Salisbury

SALISBURY — A car struck a pedestrian in the center of Salisbury village on Friday afternoon, Aug. 30, at about 2 p.m. 

Although Ruth “Robbin” Blaine was injured in the incident, she was released from Sharon Hospital after being taken there following the incident. 

According to the report from the State Police at Troop B, Anne Fribourg, 75, of New York City was traveling east on Main Street in Salisbury that afternoon in a 2018 Subaru Forester. She was about 20 feet east of Academy Street.
