PINE PLAINS — Patricia A. O’Sullivan, 81, of Albany, N.Y., died Jan. 2, 2012, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, N.Y.She was born Sept. 7, 1930, in New York City, the daughter of the late Anne (Donahue) and William Dennin.Patricia received her education at St. Agnes Catholic School in Rockville Center, N.Y. She attended Fordham University and Finch College in New York City, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree.Patricia was the proprietor of Cloisterie Adult Home in Fultonville, N.Y., for 28 years.She was a parishioner and communicant of St. Cecilia Church in Fonda, N.Y., and also attended Mass at Auriesville Shrine. Patricia was an avid reader. She loved painting, gardening and music.Patricia is survived by two sons, James J. O’Sullivan and his wife, Doreen, of Ancramdale and Cornelius O’Sullivan of Palo Alto, Calif.; three daughters, Patricia A. Vincent and her husband, Joseph, of Pine Plains, Tara M. Sheehan and her husband, Daniel, of Tribes Hill, N.Y., and Teresa Deviney VanHeusen and her husband, Matthew, of Georgetown, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Alicia Anne Vincent, Michael Vincent, Shawn O’Sullivan, James P., Matthew T., and Daniel C. Sheehan and Matthew N. VanHeusen; her sister, Anne Ruppel; her great-granddaughter, Gabriella O’Sullivan; and her nieces and nephews.Patricia was predeceased by her brother, William Dennin.Funeral services were held Jan. 6 at St. Cecilia Church.
