MILLERTON — Area residents who wanted to make a difference donated blood at the NorthEast-Millerton Library’s first blood drive on Thursday, June 20. With nurses and personnel from the American Red Cross overseeing donation stations, the blood drive was held between 3 and 7 p.m. in the Library Annex.

“I like giving blood,” said Taconic resident Stephen Klein. “My daughter just had a blood transfusion and I felt like giving.”
