Winsted Police

The following information was provided by the Winsted Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tampering with evidence

Reginald Harrington, 44, 287 Pratt St., was arrested Nov. 4 and charged with making a restricted turn, operating under suspension, evading responsibility and tampering/fabricating evidence. He was released on a $2,000 and scheduled to appear in court Nov. 14.

Police pursuit

William Malchiodi, 60, 112 Main St., was arrested Nov. 14 and charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and engaging police in pursuit. A non-surety bond was set at $1,000, and he was scheduled to appear Nov. 14.

Domestic disturbance

Briteana F. Cooper, 24, 84 Meadow St., second floor, was arrested Nov. 4 and charged with assault in the third degree, criminal violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct stemming from a domestic disturbance. A $500 non-surety bond was set, and she was scheduled to appear Nov. 7.

Violation of protective order

George Nocera, 53, 101 South Rd., Winchester, was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with criminal violation of a protective order. A $1,000 surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 7

Domestic incident

Ned St. Jean, 24, 143 Wetmore Ave., was arrested Nov. 6 and charged with disorderly conduct in a domestic incident. A $1,000 non-surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear Nov. 7.

Probation violation

Donald H. Hiller, 50, 106 Ledge Drive, was arrested Nov. 9 and charged on two warrants for violation of probation stemming from an incident Oct. 28. He was released on a $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Nov. 21.

Driving while intoxicated

Karen Beadle, 50, 284 Florence St., was arrested Nov. 12 and charged with driving while intoxicated. A $500 non-surety bond was set, and she was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 21.

Disorderly conduct

Kenneth W. Petronella, 48, 103 Prospect St., was arrested Nov. 18 and charged with disorderly conduct with regards to an incident occurring Nov. 5. Bond was set at $2,500, and he was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 21.

Burglary

George Centrella, 25 Lake St., was arrested Nov. 15 and charged with third degree burglary and second degree criminal mischief. A $20,000 surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 15.

Burglary

William Jasmine, 19, 321 Norcross Rd.,  was arrested Nov. 15 and charged with third degree burglary and second degree criminal mischief. A $20,000 surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 15.

Multiple charges

Gregory M. Moulthrop, 33, 233 Holabird Ave., was arrested Nov. 14 and charged with using a motor vehicle without permission; second degree failure to appear; sixth degree larceny and making a false statement; and violation of probation. Surety and cash bonds were set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 15.
