College hosts open house for students, parents

Northwestern Connecticut Community College held an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 26. According to College President Barbara Douglass (right), more than 100 prospective students and their parents attended the event. “You can never have too many degrees,” Douglass said. “My theory is that the more you learn, the more you earn. Going to a community college is an economically and academically wise decision.”
