Lighting the way to the holidays

The holiday season of lights roared to a start in North Canaan with a parade of lights that traveled from the parking lots at Stop & Shop and Arnold’s Garage through the center of town. Fire companies from area towns participated, including Norfolk, Kent and Cornwall and of course the Slater clan from Millerton brought their truck and wagons.

Lawrence Field was festively lit for the occasion and a celebration was held at the pavilion near the field following the parade.
