So much to love at the 42nd Pumpkin Run

KENT — There weren’t only cold hands (and noses) at the 42nd annual Pumpkin Run in Kent on Sunday, Oct. 28. There were also warm hearts, as evidenced by the fact that one young runner proposed marriage to another young runner during the post-race awards ceremony. For more details on that, turn to Page A18.

As for everyone else: brrrrr. No one seemed to bunch together for warmth, although there were enough warm bodies there, with 574 runners registered for the adult race and 484 crossing the finish line.
