Cycle through GMF to raise money for a bike trail

NORFOLK  — The first ever Tour de Forest fundraising bicycle outing is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27.

Rather than a race this is a bike tour with stops along the way that will include historical facts and information about the Great Mountain Forest, a beautiful working forest that encompasses more than 6,000 acres of contiguous forestland that is used as a renewable resource, a habitat for wildlife and a classroom for training and education.
