Easter holiday events
WASHINGTON — The town of Washington is offering some holiday activities for young and old alike this Easter. Below is a list of events for all to enjoy.
Twilight egg hunt
Friday, April 22
Egg hunters from fourth grade up to grandparents are invited by the town of Washington Recreation Commission to come to the town park with their flashlights and collecting baskets at 7:30 p.m. for a twilight Easter egg hunt on Friday, April 22. The event is free and there will be prizes. If the weather is bad the event will be canceled and scheduled again next year.
Saturday egg hunt
for small children
The annual Tribute Gardens Park Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 23, the day before Easter, beginning at 11 a.m. in front of the park gates. Preschoolers through third-grade children should bring empty Easter egg baskets to collect chocolate eggs hidden around the park’s playground. The very tall Easter Bunny and other characters will be mingling in the crowd.
