Kent will appear on 'Chronicle'

KENT — The Yankee magazine article naming Kent the top foliage site in New England continues to garner attention for the town. A camera crew from WCVB-TV Channel 5, an ABC affiliate in Boston, plans to air a feature about the town filmed for the television series “Chronicle.â€

First Selectman Bruce Adams reported at a Board of Selectmen’s meeting Oct. 5 that a television crew had filmed several locations and conducted interviews for the show the week before.

“Their coverage stems from the story that was published in Yankee magazine, but they are not doing a story on fall foliage,†Adams said. “They are doing a story on the town itself. They interviewed me at The Villager and I took them up to Bull’s Bridge Golf Club so they could get a good view.â€

Adams said the  show does not tell viewers what location they are watching at the beginning of the show, but encourages them to guess as the program goes on.

The show is expected to air sometime in the next two weeks. The website at bostonchannel.com/chronicle will have clips from the program.
