Celebrating National FFA Week, Feb. 20-27

Each year the Housatonic Valley Regional High School (HVRHS) FFA chapter hosts a store offering wreaths, Christmas trees, poinsettias and other holiday decorations. Members gather for “production nights.” According to HVRHS teacher Dave Moran, a good production night will result in 70 to 80 wreaths. This year’s theme is Amplify! and it embraces more than 85 years of FFA traditions while looking forward to the organization’s future. More than half a million members will participate in National FFA Week activities at local, state and national levels. These members have a passion for agriculture.
