How sweet it is!

COPAKE — For one sweet summer afternoon, the Copake Grange was transformed into the Cupcake Grange for a fundraiser organized by the Friends of Copake Grange to benefit the Grange on Sunday, June 12.

Avian flu remains a concern in the Hudson Valley

HUDSON VALLEY — The highly pathogenic avian flu continues to cost an enormous amount of money and caused a great deal of fear in the United States, and right here in the Hudson Valley. According to the World Health Organization (WHO),  the first case of human H5N1 avian flu in the United States was first reported on April 28.

Vets, hogs, cards and BBQ… a fast and fun VFW fundraiser

DOVER — Revving their motors for a rollicking time, area motorcyclists were invited to play their poker hands at the Dover Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) Post 5444’s Poker Run on Saturday, June 4.

It was all in the name of a good cause as the VFW’s relief fund went to help Post 5444’s veterans in need.
