MILLERTON — Though based in Berkshire, Mass., the Berkshire Roller Girls couldn’t have picked a better spot to skate than the Harlem Valley Rail Trail in Millerton earlier in the season.

Pine Plains races through eighth year of Summer Track Program

PINE PLAINS — Connecting local athletes of the past and present, the annual Pine Plains Summer Track Program recently finished another energetic season pounding the pavement, gathering just as much excitement from its young participants as it did when the program started eight summers ago.

Millerton library triumphs over Amenia on the links

COPAKE —  Millerton is bursting with good-natured pride thanks to stellar performances by members of the NorthEast-Millerton Library’s  (NEML) golf team, which swept the first-ever annual golf tournament with the Amenia Free Library on Friday, Aug. 13, at Undermountain Golf Course in Copake.
