Another successful Orvis Game Fair Weekend

MILLBROOK — The Orvis Sandanona Shooting Grounds in Millbrook drew “great attendance,” according to Senior Manager Peggy Long, for its 60-plus vendors and exhibitors, as many spectators checked out the deep variety of demonstrations over the weekend.

‘Gallop Poll’ shows polo is a weekend fav

PINE PLAINS — The region’s competing polo teams couldn’t have asked for a better morning to test their strengths on the field by competing in the Mashomack Cup Final on Saturday morning, Sept. 11. 

Mashomack hosted leagues throughout the weekend, as it does durings its polo season.

MILLERTON — Though based in Berkshire, Mass., the Berkshire Roller Girls couldn’t have picked a better spot to skate than the Harlem Valley Rail Trail in Millerton earlier in the season.

Pine Plains races through eighth year of Summer Track Program

PINE PLAINS — Connecting local athletes of the past and present, the annual Pine Plains Summer Track Program recently finished another energetic season pounding the pavement, gathering just as much excitement from its young participants as it did when the program started eight summers ago.
