NEW YORK CITY — Offering an evening of original performances, Pine Plains native and part-time Ancram resident, New York City choreographer Mark DeGarmo of Mark DeGarmo Dance aired his 2020-21 Virtual Salon Performance Series for Social Change on Thursday, April 1, via Zoom.
MILLBROOK — The Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club has just the thing to bring someone out of the winter doldrums, and the largely isolated habits most have settled into during the past year. WAPPINGERS FALLS — The Dutchess County Legislature approved a $1.4 million bond resolution to fund critical improvements to Dutchess Stadium on Route 9D in Wappingers Falls on Feb. 4, in hopes of boosting the economy and improving county facilities.

WEBUTUCK — Between the rainfall, high winds and COVID-19 restrictions, the Webutuck varsity girls soccer team has persevered, putting its best foot forward on the field during its past couple of games.
PINE PLAINS — Though this year’s sports season may have changed in regard to COVID-19 restrictions, the Stissing Mountain High School football team’s will to work hard on the field remained intact as it faced off against Spackenkill in an away game on Friday, March 19.
I cleaned out the Fish Closet the other day.
This is no simple matter. The Fish Closet sits beneath a staircase, so the ceiling is sloped. The shelving is at the rear, which means it’s best to put things back there that won’t be needed any time soon. If ever.
