Dover Dragons soccer slay Webutuck Warriors

WEBUTUCK — Ending another week on the soccer field on a loss, the Webutuck girls varsity soccer team found itself at the mercy of Dover High School during a home game held on Friday, Sept. 24.

The Webutuck Lady Warriors faced off against the Dover Dragons on the field behind Webutuck Elementary School at 4:15 p.m.

Kairi Kohler scored the Dragons’ only goal in the game’s first half.

Playing keeper for the Lady Warriors, Emily Thompson made six saves while Kenziah Samuel made four saves for the Dragons. 

By game’s end, the Dragons roared with the sounds of victory with a score of 1-0 over the Lady Warriors.

Following their game against Dover, the Webutuck girls varsity soccer team clocked in an overall season record of zero wins, six losses and zero ties. 

Dover’s overall season record as of last Friday includes three wins, three losses and no ties.
