The Salisbury School lacrosse team beat The Taft School, 10-5, on Tuesday, May 31, to win the Geico national high school lacrosse championship at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. The Crimson Knights had a regular season record of 11-3 and won both their games in the tournament.

Entering the big bend

Drivers in the international GT class practiced on Friday, May 27, before qualifying  for the race at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, where the Trans Am Memorial Day Classic schedule featured  several race groups, a car show and crowds of race fans.

First inning flowers

It was Senior Day for the Housatonic Valley Regional High School baseball team on Wednesday, May 25. Senior players, holding bouquets of flowers to present to their loved ones, waited for the pre-game ceremony.

Girls lax gets first win

FALLS VILLAGE — The girls track team won its meet on May 2 against Terryville and Litchfield.  Sydney Segalla won both the 100 and 200 meter races. Linus Barnes won the shot put event and qualified for the Berkshire League championships.

Housy beats Gilbert 15-7

FALLS VILLAGE — The Housatonic Valley Regional High School softball team has started to gain traction in the final month of the season, earning a second consecutive win with a decisive 15-7 victory at home over The Gilbert School on Friday, April 29.
