Housy girls basketball team falls 51-41
FALLS VILLAGE — Housatonic Valley Regional High School’s varsity girls basketball team lost 51-41 to Lewis Mills on Friday, Feb. 3.The away game saw Housy take the lead into the third quarter before Mills went on a 26 to 12 run to end the game. For Lewis Mills, Teagan Dunn had 14 points, Natalie Ruel had 12 points, Cassidy Lockwood scored 11 points, Vicki Hernandez and Mikayla Pnn each had five points, and Leanne Beavors had four points. Housatonic was led by Brianna Ongley with 14 points off the bench. Heather Kearns scored eight points, Jaime Conklin and Katie Heacox each had six points, Kayla Quinion scored four points and Abby Wilson sank a three-pointer to end Housy’s scoring.Hailey Nelson, Kiera Bisenius, and Brittney Pastre also played well but did not figure in the scoring.
