Save Sharon Hospital: roundtable Hospital changes remain focus, letters encouraged

CORNWALL — The future of the Labor and Delivery Unit at Sharon Hospital hangs in the balance as the Dec. 6 public hearing with the Office of Health Strategy (OHS) approaches.

Cornwall students host Veterans Day

CORNWALL — The students at Cornwall Consolidated School hosted seven local veterans of the armed forces on the morning of Thursday, Nov. 10, to commemorate Veterans Day.

The retired servicemen represented more than 40 years of combined service, ranging back to 1954 in the Korean War.

Newly appointed to the volunteer position of Cornwall’s Housing Advocate, resident Jessica Brackman brings her experience, love of the community and energetic enthusiasm to the task of creating viable housing opportunities to ensure a vital future for the town.
