History points the way

Visitors to West Cornwall and Cornwall Bridge will notice a new addition to the information kiosks: A display showcasing a concise history of the area thanks to the Cornwall Economic Development Commission’s collaboration with the Cornwall Historical Society.

Bear raids family’s rabbit crates

WEST CORNWALL – Christi Bodwell looked out the window on Tuesday, April 12, and noticed one of her rabbit crates in the yard. Then she saw that the rabbit shed door was open. She grabbed her phone and texted her son.

“There’s something wrong with your bunny barn,” she wrote.

‘Long push’ for Wild and Scenic status resurfaces with Congressional clout

CORNWALL — Referred to as a “national treasure” by the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP), a 41-mile stretch of the Housatonic River may finally get its due in 2022 if it is designated as a Partnership Wild and Scenic River.
