An Intimate Gathering at Standard Space in Sharon

Standard Space in Sharon, Conn., opened a new show on Friday, July 2, of drawings and animations by Joshua Frankel called “Emergent System.”
Although the original plan was to begin the opening reception that evening in the gallery and then move onto the Green for a performance, rain forced a change of plans and the piano performance by Missy Mazzoli, to an 11-minute animated piece by Frankel, was brought inside.
The exhibition remains at Standard Space until Sunday, Aug. 15; visits are by appointment only.
