WINSTED —  Hundreds of children, along with their parents, participated in the Recreation Department’s annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 15.

The event was held at the Rowley Street playground and included a bounce house for children to play in, along with games and activities and an Easter egg decoration contest.

As for the Easter egg hunt itself, hundreds of plastic Easter eggs containing candies were strewn all over the field next to the playground for children to collect.
