HVRHS honored as a top STEM school

FALLS VILLAGE — Housatonic Valley Regional High School (HVRHS) is one of the top 5,000 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) high schools in the country.

Last week Newsweek announced its ranking of the top 5,000 STEM high schools for 2019; Housatonic Valley Regional High School was number 4,577.

HVRHS Principal Ian Strever said he was pleased.

In an email, he wrote: “It is pretty meaningful” to rank 4,577 out of some 26,000 schools.
