Man arrested in Copake shooting


COPAKE — On Sunday, Oct. 27, at roughly 12:30 a.m. Troopers from the New York State Police (NYSP), Livingston Barracks, responded to dispatch’s call for a shooting at a Halloween party on Waldorf Ridge Road. Authorities have not released the victim’s name.

Once on scene, according to a press release from the New York State Police, troopers and deputies from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office encountered a “large group of young people” at the home, and “a male subject with numerous gunshot wounds.”
