BOE adopts 2019-20 goals, assesses student testing


PINE PLAINS — Despite the storm heading in its direction, the Pine Plains Board of Education (BOE) kept itself preoccupied with plans for the future of the district at its recent meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

As its first order of business, the BOE approved Pine Plains reading specialist Janine Babcock’s appointment as the director of pupil personnel.

“This is very, very well-deserved,” Pine Plains Superintendent of Schools Martin Handler remarked.
