Schiller earns Bob Estabrook Award

It’s back-to-school season and in addition to preschool shopping and the introduction of new teachers to the Region One schools, there’s another important annual rite: The awarding of  scholarships to area students, including the dozen given out on Tuesday, Aug. 20, by the Salisbury Rotary Club. 

This year at the dinner held at Noble Horizons, Club President Randy Chapell introduced 11 students (all of them female, this year) and, after each said a bit about herself, presented them with checks for $1,000 scholarships.
