Winsted Police 1-13-12

WINSTED — The following information was provided by the Winchester Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Criminal mischief

Kyle Hood, 30, 100 Lake St., apt. 9, Winsted, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. A $1,000 non-surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Jan 9.

DWI

Todd M. McConaghy, 40, 61 Birdsall St., Winsted, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. He was released on a $500 cash bond and scheduled to appear in court Jan. 9.

Disorderly

Roger Gagnon, 81, 141 Moore Ave., Winsted, was arrested on a warrant issued Nov. 16, 2011, and charged with disorderly conduct. A $500 non-surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 5.

Disorderly

Sheila Phair, 47, 103 Prospect St., Winsted, was arrested on a warrant issued Dec. 21, 2011, and charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. A $500 non-surety bond was set, and she was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 9.

Assault/disorderly

Richard E. Gilbar, 27, 56 Cook St., Winsted, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. A $5,000 surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 9.

Probation violation

Ronald B. Kittredge, 63, 51 Pratt St., Winsted, was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation. A $5,000 surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 17.

Disorderly

Robert G. Haburey, 47, 41 Moore Ave., Winsted, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. A $500 non-surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 9.

Disorderly

Edward S. Haburey, 19, 184 West Hill Rd., New Britain, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. A $500 non-surety bond was set, and he was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 9.

Cabaret comes to St. Andrew's in Kent

Music in the Nave will again tap into local talent April 6 at 7 p.m. when its features George Potts in an intimate cabaret concert in the St. Andrew’s Church parish house.

Pott is a well-known figure in the community, both through his presence in the perennially popular Fife ‘n Drum, the restaurant started by his father-in-law, renowned pianist Dolph Trayman, and through his own career as a folk musician.
