New Record for book sales

Perfect weather and interesting authors combined to make this a particularly successful book signing at the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon on Friday, Aug. 2. About 350 people attended, an increase over the average of 300; and several of the authors sold out of their books, including Henry Kissinger, a Kent resident, who signed copies of his and Winston Lord’s new book, “Kissinger on Kissinger: Reflections on Diplomacy, Grand Strategy and Leadership.” In all, about 700 books were sold that evening, setting a record for the annual fundraiser.
