Lara ‘Kim’ Bloodgood

PINE PLAINS —  Lara “Kim” Bloodgood, 64, passed away on July 16, 2019, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born on Feb. 1, 1955 in Hudson, N.Y., the daughter of Alice (Frenzel) and Neils Hoyt Sr.

Kim was a cashier at Peck’s Market in Pine Plains.

On Aug. 14, 1976, in Stanfordville, N.Y., she married Eugene Bloodgood Sr. He survives her at home. 

In addition to her husband,Eugene, survivors include her four children; Heidi Bathrick and her husband, Kenny, Christina Swartz and her husband, Fred, Eugene Bloodgood Jr. and his wife, Cady, Michelle Campbell and her husband, Jason; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Liam, Emma and Wyatt; and eight siblings, William, Robert, Pat, Richard, Kermit, Neils Jr., Harold and Joseph.

She was predeceased by three siblings, Augusta Wheeler, Norma Chorney and Cora Davis.

A graveside service was held July 20 at Stanford Cemetery in Stanfordville, the Rev. Andrew Smith officiating.
